Mentoring

The author of two novels, a dozen essays and a poetry pamphlet, Sophie offers one-to-one mentoring for writers looking to develop their craft or working on a specific project. Tailored to your specific needs, the sessions build on Sophie’s own writing practise to guide you through the planning, writing and editing stages. Sessions are £50 for an hour or £200 for five sessions (to be used within 12 months).

Editing

Sophie also offers an editing service to help you shape your manuscript before sending it to agents, editors and/or publishers. Sophie specialises in travel writing, literary novels, historical novels, memoirs and  poetry collections.

If you are not sure whether your manuscript is ready for a full edit, Sophie also offers a review report which consists of an outline of the types of edits which will be required.

The fees for these two services is based on the genre and the word count of your manuscript. For enquiries please use the form on my contact page.

Writer support (Access to Work)

If you are a writer who is eligible for Access to Work job help, Sophie is available to work with you on research, editing and organisation for your writing project.
